On the road again....

and hoping that we make good time tomorrow. The frig is empty, so a quick shop is a necessary evil when we get home. Nothing like a seven hour trip to give you enough time to write a grocery list. I could likely write menu plans for the next five months, too! Speaking of food, I used my homemade pesto to make shrimp scampi....every morsel was gone at the end of dinner, so I think they liked it! The meal was followed by copious amounts of tea and Smart Pop while we discussed the wheres and why fores of life...we stayed far too late tonight, of course, so everyone will be tired in the morning. There are always too many things left to say in the last moments, and the last thing anyone wants to say is goodbye. Thank goodness we will be coming again in mid November! Hmmmm....that is ten pounds away rather than five.....
